The math against doing nothing

Operator surveys put the direct cost of hiring one experienced tech at $5,400 to $6,600 before counting the empty truck, and a truck that should produce thousands of dollars of gross profit every week produces zero while the seat stays open. A sixty-day vacancy quietly costs more than any fee on this page. Run your own numbers in the cost-of-vacancy calculator.

And for comparison on the recurring side: a trade-experienced in-house recruiter runs $55,000 or more a year plus burden. The fractional plan delivers the function at a fraction of that, and it never calls in sick.

Pricing questions

Why do you publish your prices?

Because the operators we work for are tired of "call for a quote," and because transparent pricing filters for serious conversations. The numbers on this page are the numbers; the only variable is which structure fits how often you hire.

Which option should a shop that hires 2-4 techs a year pick?

The fractional retainer, almost always. Two flat-fee placements already cost more than several months of retainer, and the retainer adds the bench: candidates stay warm between hires instead of every search starting cold.

How does the 90-day guarantee work?

If a placed tech leaves or is let go within 90 days of start, we rerun the search and replace them at no additional placement fee. On retainer plans, the replacement search opens at priority and is included.

Are there any other fees?

No setup fees, no exclusivity requirements, and no charge for the market pay-band data we share at intake. Background checks and drug screens run at cost per your policy, and we tell you those costs before anything runs.
